Our zinc plated neodymium disc magnets are designed for importers, industrial distributors and manufacturers looking for round permanent magnets for regular production.

We supply a range of diameters, thicknesses and magnetic grades for different assembly requirements. Whether your project uses small magnets inside plastic components or larger round magnets in general holding applications, the specification can be reviewed according to the product design.

Unlike finished magnetic holders with steel cups or threaded parts, these are individual round NdFeB magnets. They can be incorporated into customer-designed products through adhesive bonding, mechanical retention or other appropriate assembly methods.

Available Grades and Sizes

We supply N35, N38, N42, N45, N48, N50 and N52 grade neodymium magnets.

N35 and N42 are commonly considered for standard magnetic assemblies, while higher grades such as N48 or N52 may be evaluated when additional magnetic performance is required within limited space.

However, choosing the highest grade is not always necessary.

A suitable magnet depends on the available installation space, air gap, working distance, material thickness and required holding force.

For example, a thicker N42 disc magnet may perform differently from a thinner N52 magnet. The correct comparison should be made using the actual dimensions and operating conditions.

Customers can provide the required diameter, thickness, grade and magnetization direction. We can then evaluate the manufacturing feasibility and recommended specifications.

Zinc Coating for Practical Surface Protection

Zinc plating is an option for neodymium magnets used in suitable indoor and relatively dry environments.

Its silver-grey metallic appearance is different from the brighter surface normally associated with nickel-plated magnets.

For customers purchasing magnets that will be hidden inside an assembly, zinc coating can be worth evaluating when the application does not require a decorative mirror-like finish.

The required coating thickness, surface condition and corrosion-resistance performance should be agreed upon before mass production.

For products exposed to continuous moisture, chemicals, salt or outdoor weather, alternative coatings or additional protection may be more appropriate.

Bulk Order Manufacturing and Inspection

For wholesale magnet orders, consistency between production batches is important.

Before production, our team reviews the required dimensions, magnetic grade, coating requirements and estimated order quantity.

During production and inspection, key control points may include:

• Surface appearance and coating condition

• Magnetization direction

• Surface magnetic field measurement

• Packaging protection

Magnetic material grade is established using appropriate material-level magnetic performance records. Surface gauss readings are useful for production checks but do not independently establish the full magnetic grade.

Where special performance testing or third-party inspection is required, the method and testing location should be confirmed before the order.
